Community Living, Inc.
is an organization dedicated to serving persons with intellectual and developmental disabilities, enabling them to be happy, healthy, safe, and to LIVE LIFE!. We do this by providing assisted living in residential houses, opportunities for employment, and recreational activities. We have created an environment of encouragement so that all can make viable contributions to the community in which they live, and all can pursue their dreams. Community Living, Inc. is funded by the State of Maryland through the Developmental Disabilities Administration as well as through The United Way of Frederick County and a variety of fund raisers. In addition, the organization accepts contributions of money, time, and expertise. We offer plenty of volunteer opportunities for those who are willing and able to make a positive difference in the lives of others.

A natural outgrowth of Community Living's mission, the Monocacy Foundation was established in 1995 to provide money to persons with developmental disabilities to cover some expenses not otherwise funded.
