CLI’s Adopt-a-Home program is our effort to have the community get to know our residents better and our residents get to know the community better. There are no firm guidelines in our program, as each home has its own personality formed by the people living in the home. This makes it easier for you, the volunteer, to tailor your activities with us to what your interests are. All of our homes have three residents in them. Some are very active and would enjoy outings to the mall, to the park, even to a ball game. Others are more quiet and sedate and would prefer to do a craft, or a jigsaw puzzle. All enjoy celebrating holidays and birthdays. Adopting a home can mean buying some birthday gifts for the residents, throwing a party, or taking our residents out to their favorite restaurant monthly. It can also mean helping us with routine maintenance….weeding, mulching, flower tending and painting a fence. With 26 houses, CLI can find a house that meets your personality and spirit. Please
